Really Simple Documentaries
A web documentary is your chance to show, in just a few minutes, what you do, how you do it and the great people who help you make it happen.
Really Simple Interviews and Podcasts tell the story. Really Simple Documentaries show the story.
We take a four-step approach to making documentaries for our clients -- listening, planning, shooting and post-production.
We start with a Q&A that gets us up to speed quickly on why you want a documentary and how you'll use it. We follow up by phone to further discuss and settle those goals. If we're still in the game, our team stops by to meet you in person and take a walking tour so we can tightly plan the shoot. That way, we can usually finish in a half day with minimal disruption to your workplace or people. Afterward, our post-production team can quickly turn around an edit for your approval.
Keep in mind that Really Simple Documentaries don't include a lot of the bells and whistles you might see Ken Burns use. We like music, professional voiceover work, slide segments and professional styling, and we know great people who do all those things. But in Really Simple Documentary territory, we think you'll find that your voices, processes and visuals are surprisingly thorough in telling a story that's informative, entertaining and compelling.
